JUBA - Future Stars Football Academy U-20 midfielder Rewde Maliah has expressed confidence ahead of the 4th Late Mubarak Wol Tournament final after inspiring his side to a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Dove Soccer Academy in Sunday's semi-final.
The talented midfielder was at the heart of Future Stars' attacking play, delivering an outstanding performance that earned him the Player of the Match award.
Maliah created the opening goal for Louis Peter with a perfectly weighted assist before adding the second goal himself to put the academy firmly in control of the contest.
His display helped Future Stars book a deserved place in the final, where they will now have the opportunity to compete for the tournament crown.
Reflecting on the victory, Maliah praised the collective effort of the squad and highlighted the determination shown by every player throughout the match.
"I'm very grateful for today's game. It was a great victory for the team because everyone worked hard until the final whistle. We started the match with confidence, stayed focused, and the result shows the spirit and commitment we have as a team."
