JUBA, South Sudan — Warrap State secured a 3–1 victory over Pibor Administrative Area in the women’s Group A encounter of the Inter-States Independence Volleyball Tournament in Juba.
Warrap State controlled the contest at the Nimra Talata Volleyball Stadium, eventually claiming a 3–1 win to strengthen their position in Group A.
The result gives Warrap State valuable points as the competition continues, while Pibor A.A will look to bounce back in their next group-stage fixture.
The tournament is being held as part of South Sudan’s Independence celebrations, bringing together teams from different states in a competition aimed at promoting volleyball development, unity and peace through sport.
