Tunisia’s U18 Boys’ National Volleyball Team secured a valuable 3-1 victory over Libya in the African U18 Boys’ and Girls’ Volleyball Championship, currently being held in Alexandria, Egypt.
The Tunisian team produced a strong performance at Pioneers Club, winning the opening two sets 25-17 and 25-20 to take early control of the match.
Libya responded in the third set with a determined display, edging Tunisia 27-25 to reduce the deficit and keep their hopes alive. However, Tunisia regained their composure in the fourth set, winning 25-19 to complete a 3-1 victory.

The result continues Tunisia’s positive campaign in the tournament after their opening 3-1 victory over Cameroon, although they previously suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat against Algeria.
Libya, meanwhile, showed fighting spirit despite the loss. They began their campaign with an impressive 3-2 win over Algeria before losing 3-1 to Cameroon.
The African U18 Boys’ and Girls’ Volleyball Championship runs from July 20 to 30, 2026, featuring 14 national teams competing for the continental title and showcasing Africa’s emerging volleyball talents.
