CONAKRY, Guinea – The official match ball for the 2027 African Minifootball Cup of Nations (AMC AFCON Guinea 2027), named “Nimba,” will be unveiled during the tournament’s official draw ceremony on 25 July 2026 in Conakry, Guinea.
The unveiling of the “Nimba” ball will mark a key milestone in preparations for Africa’s premier minifootball competition, as participating nations begin their journey towards the continental championship.
South Sudan will be represented at the ceremony by Victor Lawrence Lual, President of the Steering Committee of the South Sudan Minifootball Federation (SSMF), who also serves as a member of the Monitoring and Preparation Committee for AMC AFCON Guinea 2027.
Lual’s participation highlights South Sudan’s growing involvement in the development and administration of minifootball at the African level, while reaffirming SSMF’s commitment to supporting the success of the continental tournament.
The official draw will reveal the groups for the 2027 championship, setting the stage for an exciting competition that will bring together Africa’s top minifootball nations.
As the countdown to Guinea 2027 continues, the unveiling of “Nimba” represents another step forward in the growth and recognition of minifootball across Africa.
