JUBA, South Sudan — Jonglei State made a strong start to their campaign in the Inter-States Independence Peace Tournament with a dominant 3–0 victory over Abyei Administrative Area at the Nimra Talata Volleyball Stadium in Juba on Tuesday.
Jonglei controlled the match from the opening set, winning 25–15 before extending their advantage with a 25–21 victory in the second set.
They completed the sweep in emphatic fashion, taking the third set 25–10 to seal a comprehensive 3–0 win.
