JUBA - Viva Stars FC continued their preparations for the new season with their second pre-season training session at Saint Theresa Playground in Kator on Tuesday.
The Fighters, under head coach Nasir Yusif, began their pre-season programme on Monday as they prepare for the upcoming Juba Football Association First Division League, popularly known as the Konyokonyo League, and the South Sudan Cup.
Viva Stars have set ambitious targets for the new campaign, with the club aiming to challenge for the Konyokonyo League title and secure qualification to the South Sudan National League, the final qualifying stage for promotion to the South Sudan Premier League.
The early stages of pre-season are focused on building fitness, improving team cohesion and preparing the squad for what promises to be a competitive campaign.
With the Fighters now into their second day of preparations, coach Nasir Yusif and his technical team will be looking to gradually shape the squad ahead of the start of competitive action.
Viva Stars are determined to make their ambitions count when the new season gets underway.
