JUBA – Al Huriya FC president Dr. Joseph Monday has challenged his players to uphold the club's winning mentality as preparations begin for the new football season.
Speaking in a video posted by Hattrick 24 Digital Media, Monday reminded both new and returning players of the standards expected at the club.
"I call you warriors. When you come to Al Huriya you feel you are a winner. When Al Huriya draw or lose, we are not happy," he said.
The club president said unity has become one of Al Huriya's greatest strengths, adding that several of the club's new signings experienced that spirit while facing the Flames last season.
"Some of the players who joined us recently played against us and they saw how together we are," Monday added.
Al Huriya are preparing for only their second season in the Konyokonyo League after finishing fifth in the previous campaign and are aiming to improve on that performance.
