Sudan’s U20 national team have departed Rwanda for Tanzania to participate in the CECAFA U20 tournament, which serves as a qualifying competition for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Young Falcons, led by head coach Mohamed Abdallah Mazda, have been drawn in Group B.
Sudan are scheduled to begin their campaign against Djibouti on September 15, before concluding the group stage against Uganda.
The team will now turn their attention to competitive action in Tanzania as they aim to make a strong start to their regional campaign and push for qualification to the continental finals.
