Juba, South Sudan – The South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) Executive Committee has officially confirmed the 12 clubs that will compete in the 2026/27 South Sudan Women's Premier League.
The decision was among the key resolutions adopted during the federation's Ordinary Executive Committee Meeting No. 004/2026, held on Monday.
According to an SSFF statement, the approved clubs are Atlabara FC, Kator FC, Malakia SC, Munuki FC, Salam FC, Wajuma FC, Bentiu City FC, Yei Joint Stars, El Merriekh SC Juba, Simba FC, Juba Queens and Nile Eagle FC.
"In a major boost for women's football, EXCO officially approved the final list of twelve football clubs cleared to compete in the upcoming South Sudan Women's Premier League 2026-2027 season," the federation said.
The league is expected to kick off as part of the country's new football calendar.
