Kator fc sit bottom of the standings after four consecutive defeats, with four goals scored, 18 conceded and a goal difference of -14.
Kator FC’s opening four matches in the South Sudan Women’s Premier League have left the Lobera with work to do as they search for their first points of the campaign.
After Matchday 4, Kator sit 12th and bottom of the standings with zero points, having lost all four matches. Their record stands at four goals scored and 18 conceded, leaving them with a goal difference of -14.
The results show a team struggling to turn performances into points, with defensive vulnerabilities proving costly across the opening weeks. Kator began their campaign with a narrow 1–0 defeat to Nile Eagle FC in Week 1 before suffering a 9–1 loss to Munuki SC in Week 2. They were beaten 5–1 by Wajuma FC in Week 3, then suffered another narrow defeat, losing 3–2 to Salam FC in Week 4.
The latest result offers a notable contrast to their earlier heavy defeats. Despite losing, Kator scored twice against Salam, bringing their total to four goals in four matches. However, conceding three goals meant their attacking contribution was not enough to secure even a draw.
What the numbers mean
Kator’s four goals across four matches give them an average of one goal per game. At the other end, they have conceded an average of 4.5 goals per match, highlighting the need for greater defensive organisation.
Their -14 goal difference reflects the cumulative impact of the four defeats, particularly the losses to Munuki SC and Wajuma FC.
With zero points after four matches, the Lobera need to start converting their chances into results while improving their defensive resilience. Their defeat to Salam also shows how narrow the margin can be: scoring twice was not enough to prevent another loss.
The season is still ongoing, and the immediate challenge for Kator is to stop the losing run, build confidence and register their first points. Improving their defensive performance while maintaining the progress shown in front of goal against Salam could be an important step in that process.
For Kator, the numbers tell a clear story after four matchdays: the priority is no longer simply to score, but to find a balance between attacking output and defensive stability.
