JUBA – The South Sudan Football Federation has authorised legal action against individuals and companies using the federation's logo or producing national team merchandise without permission.
The decision was approved during the Executive Committee meeting as part of measures to protect the federation's intellectual property.
"The Investment Committee has been strictly authorised to initiate legal proceedings against any companies or individuals using the Federation's logo for commercial purposes," the federation said.
The move also targets the unauthorised manufacture and sale of South Sudan national team jerseys.
