Tunisian coach Saber B. Jabria began his reign at Jamus SC with a 4-3 defeat to Rayon Sports in a behind-closed-doors pre-season friendly at Gicumbi Stadium in Rwanda on Saturday.
Rayon Sports secured victory through a brace from Toni Kitoga, while Mubarak and Atisso Kodjo also found the back of the net for the Rwandan giants.
Jamus SC replied with goals from Diallo, Hannif Wesonga and Ramazani, but the South Sudan Premier League runners-up were unable to avoid defeat in Jabria's first match in charge.
The result marked Jamus SC's second defeat to Rayon Sports. The two sides first met in August 2024, when the Rwandan giants recorded a convincing 3-0 victory over the Buffaloes.
Both clubs are using the friendly matches to fine-tune their preparations for the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup, which will be held in Rwanda from 24 July to 7 August.
Jamus SC have been drawn in Group B, while Rayon Sports will compete in Group C as they target a strong campaign in the regional tournament.
