Kigali - Rwandan international referee Samuel Uwikunda has been appointed to officiate the CECAFA Kagame Cup 2026 third-place playoff between Jamus SC of South Sudan and Al Hilal SC of Sudan.
Uwikunda will be assisted by Stephen Eleazar Onyango Yiembe of Kenya as the first assistant referee and Dieudonné Mutuyimana "Dodos" of Rwanda as the second assistant referee.
Tanzanian official Ahmed Ally Arajiga has been named the fourth official for the highly anticipated encounter.
The bronze medal match will see South Sudan's Jamus SC looking to finish their historic CECAFA Kagame Cup campaign on a high after an impressive run to the semi-finals. Al Hilal SC will also be aiming to secure third place and end the tournament with a victory.
