Kigali - Rayon Sports booked their place in the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup final with a 3-1 victory over Jamus SC in Tuesday's semi-final.
The Rwandan side took the lead in the 17th minute through Muderi Akbar before Ibrahim Djingarey doubled the advantage with a low-driven finish in the 59th minute, putting the hosts in firm control of the contest.
Jamus SC responded in the 70th minute when Bandiougou Diallo produced a superb looping finish to reduce the deficit and briefly revive the South Sudanese side's hopes of a comeback.
However, Rayon Sports restored their two-goal cushion late in the match as Tambwe Gloire found the net in the 88th minute to seal a 3-1 victory and send the Rwandan club into the tournament final.
The defeat ends Jamus SC's impressive campaign, with the South Sudanese club bowing out after becoming the first team from the country to reach the semi-finals of the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
