Juba, South  Sudan- Nasr Eldin Kahraba has resigned as head coach of Amarat United, announcing his departure with immediate effect without disclosing the reasons behind his decision.

According to Hattrick24, Kahraba confirmed his resignation in a statement on Thursday, October 15, saying it would take effect from the same day.

The departing coach described his time at the club as a valuable and memorable experience, highlighting his relationships with the players, technical staff, management and other members of the Amarat United family.

He also expressed gratitude to the club's management for the trust, support and opportunity to lead the team, while praising the commitment, cooperation and efforts of the players and technical staff throughout his tenure.

Kahraba wished Amarat United continued success in the next phase of the season, expressing hope that the club would continue working towards its ambitions both on and off the pitch.

His resignation comes just two weeks after the start of the Juba First Division League, with Amarat United having suffered defeats in their opening two matches.

The team lost 1-0 to El Merriekh before falling to a 3-0 defeat against Bajur, leaving them without a point from their first two outings.

Kahraba took charge of Amarat United last season and played a key role in keeping the club in the top flight, steering them away from relegation to the Juba Second Division.
