JUBA, South Sudan — Juba Second Division side Namrat Tlatta have begun preparations for the new competitive season, with the club holding their first training session at their home ground.
The opening session, which lasted approximately 90 minutes, was attended by 23 players and led by newly appointed head coach Wilson Marconi. Members of the club’s management were also present to witness the start of the team’s preparations.
The session focused on assessing the players’ physical condition, with the squad undergoing fitness tests as well as measurements of their height and weight.
Namrat Tlatta will continue their preparations with one training session per day, following the programme designed by the technical staff ahead of the start of the new 2026/27 competitive season.
The club is preparing to compete in the Juba Second Division as well as the South Sudan Cup during the upcoming campaign.
The 2026/27 season will mark Namrat Tlatta’s second-ever participation in the Juba Second Division.
