JUBA, South Sudan — Yei Joint Stars attackers Spencer Nakacwa and Aluka Grace have made an impressive start to the South Sudan Women’s Premier League season, finding the net in each of their side’s opening three matches.

Winger Nakacwa opened her account in a 4–1 victory over Juba Queens FC before scoring again in a 4–0 win against Al Salam FC in Week 2. She continued her scoring run in Week 3, registering a brace in a 19–0 demolition of Malakia SC to bring her tally to four goals in three matches.

Striker Grace has been even more prolific, scoring twice against Juba Queens before adding another goal against Al Salam FC.

She then delivered a six-goal performance against Malakia, taking her total to nine goals across the same three-match period.

Together, the pair have scored 13 goals, providing a major attacking contribution as Yei Joint Stars recorded three consecutive scoring performances from both players.

Grace’s remarkable tally highlights her finishing power, while Nakacwa’s consistency has added another dimension to the team’s attack.

With both players scoring in all three matches, Yei Joint Stars have two attackers in strong early form as the race for the league’s Golden Boot develops. Their continued contributions could prove crucial as the competition progresses.

Sports Hunter South Sudan will continue tracking the players, statistics and milestones shaping the women’s game.
