NORTH AFRICA — Morocco recorded a dominant 10-0 victory over Libya, while Tunisia defeated Botswana 2-0 in the second round of the UNAF Women’s Under-17 Championship on Monday.
Morocco produced an emphatic attacking display to secure the biggest win of the tournament so far, putting ten goals past Libya without reply.
Tunisia, meanwhile, collected all three points with a 2-0 victory over Botswana as the competition continues to showcase emerging women’s football talent across North Africa.
The UNAF Women’s U17 Championship forms part of the region’s efforts to develop youth women’s football and prepare teams for future continental competitions.
