MURCIA, Spain – Kaizer Chiefs were forced to settle for a draw after conceding a late equaliser in their pre-season friendly against Saudi Arabian club Al Kholood.
The South African giants took the lead through Wandile Duba, who struck in the 15th minute to give Chiefs an early advantage at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia.
However, Al Kholood fought back and found the equaliser in the closing stages of the match, denying Kaizer Chiefs a winning start to their preparations.
The fixture formed part of Kaizer Chiefs' pre-season programme as they continue building their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The draw provides both teams with valuable match preparation as they fine-tune their squads ahead of their respective domestic competitions.
