JUBA, South Sudan ā South Sudan Premier League side Kator FC have announced the departure of eight players as the club begins reshaping its squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The Lobera confirmed the release of Matuvu Patrick, Malish Jamal, Stephen Pawar Geng, Marial Laba Diar, Makuei Aguang Thiep, Augustino Akoch Marcelo, David Akibobola Akibua and Cyrus Azibu, thanking them for their dedication and contribution during their time at the club.
Among the players leaving is former South Sudan national team forward Stephen Pawar Geng, who joined Kator FC on 16 January 2026.
Pawar departs after a career that has seen him become one of the notable figures in South Sudan football. He began his journey with Amarat United, where he played an important role in helping the club rise through the Juba football pyramid, securing promotions from the Juba Football Association Third Division League to the Second and First Division Leagues.
During his time with Amarat United, Pawar also helped the club win the South Sudan Cup twice, establishing himself as a key attacking player.
The forward later moved to Munuki SC, where he was part of the historic squad that guided the Snakes to their first-ever Juba Football Association First Division League title in the 2021/22 season.
After returning to Amarat United, Pawar joined Kator FC in January 2026, bringing experience from both domestic and international football.
Kator FCās latest squad changes come as the Premier League club looks to strengthen its team ahead of the new season, with further movements expected as preparations continue.
