KIGALI, Rwanda – South Sudan Premier League runners-up JAMUS SC held a recovery training session on Wednesday as they turned their attention to Friday's third-place playoff at the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup in Rwanda.
The session, led by head coach Saber Ben Jabria, focused on player recovery followithe Buffaloes 3-1 semi-final defeat to Rwandan giants Rayon Sports on Tuesday.
Despite the setback, JAMUS SC have already written a new chapter in South Sudanese football by becoming the first club from the country to reach the semi-finals of the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
The South Sudanese outfit will now face Sudanese giants Al Hilal SC in Friday's third-place playoff, with a bronze medal still up for grabs.
A victory would cap a memorable campaign for Ben Jabria's men, who have surpassed all previous South Sudanese club achievements in the region's premier club competition.
