KIGALI, Rwanda — South Sudan Premier League runners-up Jamus SC have strengthened their technical team with the appointment of Tunisian performance analyst Noureddine El Zattal as preparations intensify for the 2026 CECAFA Club Championship.
The club confirmed that El Zattal has officially joined the technical staff led by head coach Saber Ben Jabria. His role will focus on enhancing the team's tactical preparation through modern performance analysis and data-driven decision-making.
Jamus SC are currently holding a pre-season training camp in Kigali, Rwanda, ahead of the regional tournament, which runs from 24 July to 7 August 2026.
The South Sudanese side has been drawn into a challenging Group B, where they will face defending champions Singida Black Stars of Tanzania, record six-time champions Simba SC, and Mogadishu City Club of Somalia.
Jamus head into the tournament as one of South Sudan's most successful clubs. They are 2025/26 South Sudan Premier League runners-up, one-time league champions, and two-time South Sudan Cup winners.
The addition of El Zattal reflects the club's ambition to compete strongly at regional level by incorporating advanced performance analytics into its technical preparations.
