Kigali, Rwanda- South Sudan Premier League runners-up Jamus FC defeated Future Generation 1-0 in their third friendly match on Sunday as they continue preparations for the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup in Rwanda.
King Joe scored the only goal of the match to give Jamus a narrow victory and a positive result ahead of their regional campaign, scheduled to take place from 24 July to 7 August.
The friendly was part of Jamus’ build-up programme as they prepare to compete against some of East and Central Africa’s top clubs. So far, the South Sudanese side have recorded one win, one draw and one defeat in their three warm-up matches.
Their only loss came against Rwandan giants Rayon Sports, who defeated Jamus 3-0, while the team also secured a draw before Sunday's victory.
Jamus will continue their preparations as they fine-tune their squad ahead of their CECAFA Kagame Cup campaign.
