JUBA - The reigning South Sudan Premier League and South Sudan Cup champions, El Merriekh SC Bentiu, are set to continue their pre-season campaign with a friendly match against Kibuli United FC in Nsambya, Uganda, on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 7:00 AM.
The encounter will be the club's first pre-season fixture after their planned match against Lukuli Hearts FC on 24 July was cancelled.
Currently holding a training camp in Uganda, El Merriekh SC Bentiu are intensifying preparations for the 2026/27 South Sudan football season and the CAF Champions League preliminary rounds, where they will represent South Sudan following a historic domestic double-winning campaign.
In a statement released through the El Merriekh SC Bentiu Media Center, the club announced:
