The CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers has grown into the most important regional women’s club football competition in East and Central Africa, providing the region’s champions with a pathway to the CAF Women’s Champions League final tournament.
Since its creation in 2021, the competition has produced five editions, featuring clubs from across the CECAFA region. South Sudan’s Yei Joint Stars FC has been the only club to participate in every edition from 2021 to 2025, becoming the country’s most consistent representative at regional level.
