CAF has officially launched the bidding process for member associations interested in hosting the Africa Cup of Nations editions of 2028, 2032, and 2036.
The continental football body confirmed that the process is progressing well, with several countries submitting bids to stage future editions of Africa’s premier national team competition.
CAF also announced the launch of a Commercial Rights Invitation to Tender (ITT) for AFCON tournaments from 2028 to 2036.
The initiative aims to maximise the commercial value of the competition and generate greater financial resources to support football development across CAF’s 54 member associations.
CAF said the increased commercial opportunities will contribute to the growth of competitions, infrastructure, and football programmes across Africa.
