CAF says preparations for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2027 are progressing well ahead of the continental showpiece.
The governing body confirmed that the three host nations are working closely with CAF to ensure that key areas including stadiums, training facilities, accommodation, transport, security, medical services, technology, and broadcasting meet required standards.
CAF praised the commitment and cooperation of the governments of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda as preparations continue for what will be the first AFCON tournament hosted jointly by the three East African nations.
The AFCON PAMOJA 2027 is expected to showcase the region’s football development while providing a major opportunity to improve sporting infrastructure.
