JUBA, South Sudan – Bebeto Coach Services Company Limited has strengthened its support for grassroots football after signing a sponsorship agreement worth SSP 20 million with the Bahr el Ghazal Counties' Tournament (BCT).
The partnership, sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), will see Bebeto Coach Services sponsor the tournament through advertising, promotional activities and transportation services.
As part of the agreement, the tournament organisers will promote Bebeto's brand throughout the competition, while the company will provide transport for participating teams during the opening ceremony and for both finalists on the day of the grand finale.
The MoU was signed by BCT President Joseph Majok Ayar Chieny and Bebeto Coach Services Chief Executive Officer Bol Mut Char.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, BCT Sports Advisor Dut Lual Anei welcomed the partnership, describing it as a significant boost for the tournament. He also encouraged more private companies and business organisations to invest in community-based sporting competitions, saying such support is essential for nurturing young talent and promoting unity through sport.
For his part, CEO Bol Mut Char reaffirmed Bebeto Coach Services' commitment to supporting community initiatives, stressing that investing in sports is an investment in youth development and community empowerment.
The sponsorship marks another important step for the Bahr el Ghazal Counties' Tournament as it continues to attract corporate backing and expand its role in developing grassroots football in South Sudan.
