APR FC continued their preparations for the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup with a commanding 3-0 victory over Intare FC in a pre-season friendly.
Fidali gave APR FC an early lead in the 3rd minute before Djibril Ouattara doubled the advantage in the 53rd minute.
New signing Amanda Michael completed the scoring with a late strike in the 89th minute.
The victory provides another confidence boost for the Rwandan champions as they intensify preparations for the regional tournament, which will be staged in Rwanda from 24 July to 7 August 2026.
APR FC have been drawn in Group A alongside Vipers SC of Uganda, Gor Mahia of Kenya, and Garde Républicaine of Djibouti.
The Rwandan giants will open their campaign against Gor Mahia on 24 July at Amahoro National Stadium.
They will then face Garde Républicaine at Kigali Pele Stadium on 27 July before concluding their Group A fixtures against Vipers SC at Amahoro National Stadium on 30 July.
APR FC will be aiming to make the most of home advantage as they chase regional glory in East and Central Africa's premier club competition.
