TORIT - Al Huriya FC have made an impressive start to their pre-season preparations in Eastern Equatoria State, remaining unbeaten in three friendly matches in Torit.
Coach Gabriel Samuel’s side began their pre-season friendly tour with a commanding 5–0 victory over Torit United on Monday.
The Juba-based club continued their winning run on Tuesday morning, securing a 2–0 victory over Torit Day FC, before completing the day with a 1–1 draw against Volcano FC at Torit Freedom Square.
The three matches have given Al Huriya valuable preparation as they build towards the upcoming Juba Football Association First Division League, popularly known as the Konyokonyo League, and the South Sudan Cup.
Al Huriya have scored eight goals and conceded just one across their three matches, highlighting a strong start to their pre-season campaign.
Coach Gabriel Samuel will now look to use the remaining preparation period to sharpen his squad and build momentum ahead of the competitive season.
