JUBA, South Sudan – Al Hilal SC Juba have continued their aggressive recruitment drive by unveiling midfielder Abdulakdir "Zuzu" and striker Abdurahaman "Haaland" as their latest additions, with both players signing four-year contracts.
The double signing takes Al Hilal's total number of new arrivals to 15 as the club strengthens its squad for the 2026/27 South Sudan football season.
Abdulakdir joins from Etihad Juba, ending a remarkable seven-year spell with the Hai Malakal-based club.
During his time at Etihad, the midfielder played a pivotal role in the team's rise from the Third Division to the Second Division before helping secure promotion to the Juba Football Association First Division.
He remained one of the club's standout performers despite its eventual relegation.
Speaking after completing his move, Abdulakdir described the transfer as the beginning of a new chapter in his career.
"Today, I am proud and honoured to officially join the Blue Family. This is a truly special moment in my journey, and I couldn't be more excited for what lies ahead."
He added that he is eager to help Al Hilal achieve success and thanked everyone who supported him throughout his career.
Joining him is striker Abdurahaman "Haaland", who arrives from the Sofass Somali Football Association in South Sudan. The forward is expected to bolster Al Hilal's attacking options as the club prepares for the new campaign.
The latest additions underline Al Hilal SC Juba's ambition to compete for major honours, with the club making one of the busiest transfer moves in South Sudanese football ahead of the new season.
