Juba - Al Hilal SC moved to the top of Group C with a commanding 4-0 victory over KVZ FC, while Rayon Sports FC edged Tusker FC 1-0 to set up a decisive final group clash in the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup.
The Sudanese champions made light work of KVZ FC, with Mohamed Abdelrahman opening the scoring in the fifth minute before R. Muhammed doubled the advantage in the 29th minute. Ansumana Samura added a third in the 80th minute, and Akire Temple Taiwo completed the rout with a fourth goal in stoppage time.
In the other Group C encounter, Atisso Kodjo struck on the stroke of half-time to hand Rayon Sports a narrow but crucial 1-0 victory over Kenya's Tusker FC. Despite sustained pressure from Tusker in the second half, the Rwandan side held firm to collect all three points.
The latest results leave Al Hilal at the summit of Group C with six points and a +6 goal difference, having won both of their opening matches. Rayon Sports sit second with three points and a +3 goal difference, while Tusker FC are third on three points with a -3 goal difference. KVZ FC remain bottom without a point and a -6 goal difference.
The final Group C fixture between Al Hilal SC and Rayon Sports FC will determine which side finishes top and secures the only automatic qualification place to the semi-finals, promising an exciting showdown between two of the tournament favourites.
