JUBA - Viva Stars FC forward Moses Ohuteng, popularly known as “Aguero,” has officially parted ways with the Fighters after a memorable two-and-a-half-year spell at the club.
Ohuteng joined Viva Stars on 1 January 2024 from Lologo FC and spent 2 years, 6 months and 26 days with the Juba Football Association First Division League outfit before his release on 27 July 2026.
During his time at Viva Stars, Aguero became a valuable player for the club, scoring important goals and contributing to the team’s ambitions. However, the club did not reveal the reasons behind his departure.
In his farewell message, Ohuteng expressed gratitude to Viva Stars management, coaches, teammates and fans for the opportunity and support he received during his stay.
“Thank you so much for making me part of this team. Your support and trust will always be with me. I really love how you manage the team, so keep the spirit and trust your boys.”
The forward also appreciated the coaching staff for helping him improve as a player.
“Thank you to our coaches for everything they showed me and taught me. I have learned a lot from your coaching, different tactics and skills. You will always be in my mind.”
Aguero described his teammates as family and thanked the supporters for their continued backing.
“Thank you for all the memories and friendship we created. We will always remain as a family. To our fans, thank you so much for your unlimited support. Keep trusting the boys and I believe everything will be fine.”
He wished Viva Stars success in the new season and hopes to see the Fighters achieve promotion to the South Sudan Premier League.
Aguero’s exit marks the end of a chapter for a player who arrived from Lologo FC and went on to leave his mark through his goals, passion and dedication in the Viva Stars jersey.
