Mayom Named MVP as Patriots Crowned Central Equatoria Basketball Champions

Patriots forward Mayom has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2025/2026 Central Equatoria State Basketball Association season after playing a key role in his team’s championship-winning campaign. Mayom was instrumental in Patriots’ successful season as they claimed the title following their 91–79 victory over Juba Bulls in the playoff final at the Nimra Talata Basketball Court in Juba. After receiving the prestigious individual award, Mayom expressed his gratitude to his teammates, crediting their teamwork, commitment and collective effort for his MVP recognition. The award caps a memorable season for Mayom, who now celebrates both individual honours and the championship title with Patriots.
