The Sudan national team will hold a preparatory training camp in Taif from 13 to 23 September 2026, as part of preparations for their upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ethiopia and Mozambique on 25 and 29 September.
The Sudan Football Association confirmed that all logistical and organisational arrangements have been completed to ensure the squad has the best possible conditions ahead of the two crucial fixtures.
The delegation is scheduled to leave for Saudi Arabia on 13 September, with players based abroad expected to join the camp in accordance with international regulations governing player releases and transfers.
The Sudan Football Association expressed its gratitude to the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for accepting the request to host the preparatory camp in Taif and for facilitating the squad's preparations.
SFA First Vice-President and Head of the National Teams Committee, Dr Osama Ata Al-Manan Hassan, praised the Saudi federation for its cooperation, describing the camp as another positive step in the strong and historic relationship between Sudan and Saudi Arabia.
He also reaffirmed the Sudanese federation's appreciation for Saudi Arabia's continued support for Sudanese football and its national teams.
