JUBA, South Sudan — South Sudanese refereeing official and technical instructor Sadiq Repent William is set to represent the country on the continental stage after being appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as a Referees Assessor for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifier between Somalia and Côte d’Ivoire.
The match is scheduled to take place in Abidjan on 29 September 2026, with William travelling to Côte d’Ivoire ahead of the fixture.
