Juba, South Sudan- South Sudan international midfielder Gaddafi Wahab says Kitara FC are shifting their attention to domestic competition after their elimination from the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Wahab shared the message following Kitara's continental exit against Egyptian giants Al Ahly at Cairo International Stadium, acknowledging the experience gained and thanking supporters for standing with the club throughout the journey.

“We bow out of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup with a lot of lessons learnt and more experience gained. Now we turn our focus on the domestic league. Thank you Royals for being with us throughout this journey,” Wahab said.

The Royals have already begun their domestic response, recording a narrow 1-0 victory over UPDF FC in the Uganda Premier League yesterday, just days after missing out on an opportunity to progress to the continental group stage.

The victory provides a timely boost for Kitara as they seek to regain momentum and strengthen their domestic league campaign.

For Wahab, the message is clear: the continental chapter is closed, and the focus is now on domestic challenges.
