The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has reportedly rejected Enugu Rangers International FC’s request to play their return-leg encounter against MC Alger behind closed doors.
The decisive CAF Champions League clash is therefore expected to take place with the stands open at Stade Ali Ammar in Algeria on Friday at 8:00 PM Nigerian time.
The decision means the Flying Antelopes will face the Algerian champions in front of spectators as they battle for a place in the next round of Africa’s premier club competition.
Despite the challenge of playing away from home, Rangers will be hoping to rise to the occasion and deliver a strong performance against their North African opponents.
