Côte d’Ivoire’s women’s national team, the Elephants, have entered a crucial stage of their preparations for the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026.
The team arrived in Morocco late on Sunday, 12 July, into Monday morning, and held their first training session on Moroccan soil on Monday afternoon.
Under head coach Reynald Pedros, the Elephants are working with focus, determination, and commitment as Reynald Pedros’ squad has arrived in Morocco and started training ahead of the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2026. look to be in the best possible shape before the continental tournament kicks off.
As part of their final preparations, Côte d’Ivoire will play two international friendly matches. Their first test comes on Tuesday, 14 July at 17:00 GMT, when they face Ghana in Casablanca.
The Elephants will use the friendly fixtures to assess their progress, sharpen their tactical approach, and build momentum ahead of their WAFCON 2026 campaign.
