JUBA – Al Huriya FC have appointed Samuel Gabriel as their new head coach after agreeing to a one-year contract, with an option to extend based on performance, Sports Hunter South Sudan has exclusively learned.
According to official information obtained by Sports Hunter South Sudan, Gabriel will be assisted by Jadalla Peter, his trusted coaching colleague from Atlabara FC. The pair also serve as coaches at Future Stars Football Academy, where they have earned recognition for nurturing young football talent.
Gabriel, who holds a CAF B Diploma Coaching Licence, takes over the Flames ahead of the 2026/27 Juba Football Association First Division League, popularly known as the Konyokonyo League. His appointment comes as Al Huriya continue to strengthen both their technical bench and playing squad.
The club has already completed the signing of nine players during the ongoing main transfer window, underlining its determination to compete strongly in its second season in Juba's top-flight league.
With an experienced coaching team and a refreshed squad, expectations will be high as the Flames look to gain promotion to the South Sudan premier League.
