Al Hilal winger Jean Claude Girumugisha has been crowned the Rwanda Premier League Player of the Season 2026 after an outstanding campaign in the BK Pro League.
The Burundian international was announced as the winner at the Rwanda Premier League Awards, earning the top individual honour ahead of APR FC’s Djibril Ouattara from Burkina Faso and Byiringiro Jean Gilbert.
Girumugisha impressed throughout the season with his pace, creativity, attacking threat, and consistent performances, making him one of the standout players in Rwanda’s top flight.
The award is a major recognition of the winger’s contribution and further enhances his reputation as one of the most exciting attacking talents in East African football.
