Juba, South Sudan - Al Hilal FC and Zal Zal FC opened their Juba Football Association First Division League campaigns with a 0–0 draw at Jamus Playground in Juba on Thursday evening.
The match, part of Week 1 of the league popularly known as the Konyo Konyo League, produced no goals as both sides settled for a point apiece.
Neither team could find the breakthrough during the encounter, with the two defences holding firm to ensure the league opener ended without a goal. The result gives Al Hilal and Zal Zal one point each from their opening fixture as they begin their respective campaigns in the JFA First Division.
The Konyo Konyo League continues this weekend with more fixtures as clubs begin their pursuit of the Juba Football Association First Division title.
