Al Ghazala SC have suffered an injury setback ahead of today’s CAF Confederation Cup preliminary-round second leg against Singida Black Stars, with captain David Vincent and Lam Wour ruled out.
The South Sudanese representatives face Singida at the Azam Complex in Tanzania, with a place in the next round already looking out of reach after a heavy 7–1 defeat in the first leg.
Vincent’s absence is particularly significant, with the Al Ghazala captain unavailable for a match in which his side will be looking to respond strongly following the first-leg setback.
Al Ghazala will now aim to produce a more competitive performance in the return fixture and close their continental campaign on a positive note.
The club has wished both players a strong and speedy recovery.
