Al Ghazala FC’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign came to an end on Sunday after a 3–0 defeat to Singida Black Stars FC in the second leg of the preliminary round at the Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The South Sudanese side faced a difficult task after suffering a 7–1 defeat in the first leg at the Juba National Stadium.
Singida Black Stars completed the job on home soil with another convincing victory, winning 3–0 to progress with a 10–1 aggregate scoreline.
Al Ghazala, the Wau-based club, were unable to overturn the first-leg deficit as the Tanzanian side maintained control across the two legs.
